The partnership follows what internal memos describe as a "highly successful pilot program" involving a high-speed golf cart pursuit and the brief incarceration of the world’s top-ranked golfer earlier this year.

Under the new agreement, every player reaching the par-3 14th will be required to navigate a 200-yard gauntlet of flashing blue lights, confusing hand signals, and officers with non-functional body cameras. The "hazard" is designed to simulate the high-pressure environment of a sunrise traffic stop, forcing golfers to maintain their composure while being charged with second-degree assault of a police officer before they can address their ball. Tour officials noted that the addition of a felony booking to the back nine has already spiked television ratings among the lucrative "True Crime and Chill" demographic.

"We realized that the traditional water hazard was no longer providing the visceral terror required for modern sports entertainment," said Miller Taggart, Executive Director of Chaos Management for the PGA Tour. "By introducing a tactical law enforcement element, we’re asking the players: Can you still sink a birdie while a detective is claiming your golf spikes damaged his eighty-dollar slacks beyond repair? The partnership includes the installation of a "Booking Tent" adjacent to the green, where players must submit to a mandatory mugshot and a three-minute period of meditative cell-stretching. To ensure authenticity, the Louisville PD has been instructed to treat all caddies as "persons of interest" and all sand wedges as "unregistered bladed weapons."
